Open Access Policy
Last updated: 24 October 2026
Free access to scholarship
The Bridge Review plans to make published journal articles freely available online immediately upon publication. Readers will not need a subscription, payment, or account to access published articles. Articles may be read, downloaded, shared, and reused according to their stated licenses and applicable law.
Author charges and independence
There are no manuscript submission or article publication fees under the current journal policy. Optional workshops, additional printed copies, and other separately priced services are not conditions of publication. Sponsorship or institutional support does not purchase editorial influence. Any future fee change will be announced before it applies and will not be imposed retroactively on manuscripts already submitted under the no-fee policy without the author's express agreement.
Licensing and repositories
Published articles use CC BY 4.0 unless a specific item states otherwise. Authors retain copyright and may deposit preprints, accepted manuscripts, and published versions without an embargo, subject to other rights in the material. Read the Copyright and Licensing Policy for conditions and exceptions.
Availability and preservation
We intend to maintain stable article pages, publication metadata, and downloadable files. Long-term preservation arrangements are being developed. We will identify participating preservation services only after agreements and deposits are in place. We do not currently claim permanent preservation, a particular database listing, or indexing coverage that has not been verified. Questions about access or a broken article link may be sent to editor@bridgereview.org.
